North County Coastal

Quick Overview: North County Coastal includes the communities of Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside. Each one has its own vibe but one thing they all have in common is a love for the beach and their community. All have easy access to the 5 freeway and PCH.

Del Mar is an upscale beachtown and home to the famous Del Mar Fairgrounds which hosts Horse Racing, Concerts, and other events throughout the year.

Solana Beach has a laid-back, small-town feel. Along with gorgeous bluffs overlooking the ocean, Solana Beach boasts one of San Diego’s top shopping districts (Cedros Design District) plus great restaurants and nightlife.

Favorite Spots: The Belly Up Tavern, Fidel’s, Claire’s on Cedros, Carruth Cellars

Encinitas is known as one of the best surf towns in the world. It has a very laid back vibe that reminds you of the historic and romantic Highway 101 beach culture. 

Favorite Spots: Moonlight State Beach, Blue Ribbon Artisan Pizzeria, Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream

Carlsbad has beautiful sandy beaches, three unique lagoons, outstanding shopping and world-class sporting events.

Favorite Spots: San Elijo State Beach, Seaside Market, Vigilucci's Trattoria Italiana, Windmill Food Hall

Oceanside sits on the most northern part of the San Diego coastline. It has a strong beach community with a thriving scene for art, food, and drink.  

Favorite Spots: Oceanside Harbor & Pier, The California Surf Museum, Panca, Miss Kim's by That Boy Good
